Erin and Paul’s Beautiful Dayboro Wedding

This year has been an exciting one in terms of weddings!  But there has been one wedding I have been waiting for and that is this one.  I felt so priviledged to be invited to photograph this special couple’s wedding as I have known the bride since I was 10 and she was 5!  Her sister is one of my best friends and I have watched her grown into an amazing young woman and meet this fabulous man who were now getting married!

The wedding was taking place in a tiny little Catholic Church in Dayboro, St Francis Xavier Church, a beautiful country church in the Petrie Parish.

Quite possibly the most excited groom ever!

Then we were off to the always stunning Glengariff Estate for a stunning reception complete with oversized games on the lawn and the most beautiful armchairs to welcome this fabulously unique and happy couple.  Although we only had 45 minutes we raced around those grounds and captured some beautiful images – it was lucky the bride and bridesmaids were all wearing their running shoes.

But after the cake and the dancing there was still one more surprise from this awesome couple.  After the birde had thrown her bouquet, rather than the traditional garter tossing, instead the bride was treated to a mariachi style serenade by her husband and the groomsmen.

Congratulations to Erin and Paul!  Wishing you every happiness in your long future together!

Kelsie and Calvin’s Lovely Petrie Wedding

It was a beautiful day in the northern suburbs of Brisbane when I arrived at a lovely little house in Bray Park with a stunning white Cadillac out the front.  Inside the bride and her bridesmaids were all ready to go, with just a few finishing touches to add.

There was a lovely moment when the groomsmen showed up to drop off the bouquets and the blushing bride hid inside while also peering out to see her groom.

Calvin and Kelsie met at high school but it wasn’t until they met later on at a youth group that they started seeing each other – and so began a beautiful love story.

Mel and Bec’s Beautiful Brisbane Wedding

I first met Mel and Bec when I photographed Rebecca’s mother’s wedding.  Melissa  had helped Karen with the lovely touches at her wedding so I knew their wedding was going to be special.

When I arrived at the hotel where both Bec and Mel were getting ready, both rooms were filled with laughter, friends and a score of professionals getting them ready for their big day.

Mel and Bec had decided to get married at the beautiful LightSpace in the Valley.  An absolutely stunning venue for one of the most beautiful weddings, full of love, friendship and family.

Congratulations Rebecca and Melissa!  Wishing you every happiness for the rest of your lives!  Thank you for letting me be part of your special day.

On the beach {Redcliffe Family Photographer}

What a special occasion I was invited to capture!  Two lovely families reuniting from across the world.  One based here in Oz and one visiting from the UK.  We headed down to Suttons Beach in Redcliffe to capture some images of these beautiful cousins playing together at the beach.  What a beautiful family!

Family Reunion {North Brisbane Family Photographer}

I first met this family a few years ago at my very first mini-session session.  Lynda and her children were the most delightful family to work with.  Since that first session I have had the privilege of photographing her family on two other occasions but I think this one has to be the most special.  This family session was to celebrate Lynda’s Nan coming to visit. Despite the drizzly rain that threatened to wash out the session the kids and Nan were fantastic and by the end the sun had even popped out for a bit.

Thank you Lynda for this very special opportunity and for allowing me yet another opportunity to capture your beautiful family and watch them grow.

Ethan, Anita and Bouncing Baby Bailey {North Lakes Family Photographer}

I met Ethan and Anita on a lovely overcast day down at Lake Eden at North Lakes.  Having never been to Lake Eden before I was so excited to discover all the beautiful little locations we could use as we strolled around the lake.

Little Bailey was the happiest little fella.  Always turning smiles on for the camera – such a delight to spend the afternoon with.  Thank you Ethan and Anita for inviting me to capture some special little moments for your family.

And just to finish off our little adventure we got to meet the neighbourhood kitties that hang out around the lake

Baby Annabelle and Family {North Brisbane Newborn Photographer}

Quite a few weeks ago I got to meet this beautiful little family who had just welcomed a beautiful baby girl into their family.  We started off doing the usual newborn lifestyle session in the family home but unfortunately Mr Logan just wasn’t up for pictures that day so after capturing some sweet images of Princess Annabelle we rescheduled for a little family session down in the park in a few weeks when the Big Brother had gotten used to all the changes that come with a baby sister and had gotten over his cold.

And what a delight it was to capture this beautiful family not only in their home but then some stunning images out in the wild – enjoying themselves and having fun together.  And Mr Logan showed us all what a brilliant big brother he is going to be

Rachel and Andrew {Shorncliffe Maternity Photographer}

The rain clouds were hanging low over Shorncliffe when I got to meet this beautiful little family.  I honestly didn’t know if the rain would hold off for us but we were on a tight timeline with mumma at 38 weeks.

In the end the rain held off for us and we were able to capture some very special images for this gorgeous family before they welcomed their baby girl into the world.
