Telina and Dylan’s Wedding Day {Dayboro Wedding Photographer}

Despite the clouds and forecast of showers it was a stunning day out in Dayboro for the stunning wedding of Telina and Dylan at Glengariff Historic Estate.

Quite possibly the most organised bride I’ve ever had the pleasure of photographing, when I arrived at the lovely little cottage reserved for brides getting married out at Glengariff everyone was relaxed and ready to go.

Surrounded by her beautiful attendants this stunning bride slid into the most stunning lace dress and we had plenty of time to capture some shots before it was time to head to the ceremony down the hill at Glengariff Historic Estate.

The rain cleared and the sun came out for a beautiful ceremony that involved both their children as well.  The bride and groom shared some heartfelt vows before their guest who had come from near and far to celebrate a much anticipated wedding.

After the ceremony I stole the bridal party away to explore the gorgeous grounds of the historic winery.

And after all the speeches and dancing had been done, we celebrated two lives becoming one.  Congratulations Telina and Dylan and thank you for letting me share in your day.

Tamara and Spencer’s Gorgeous Country Wedding {Dayboro – Mt Pleasant Wedding Photographer}

On the 13th of December, the day was slightly overcast but this made for an absolutely beautiful day to get married at Henzell’s Chapel at Dayboro, Queensland.  Tamara and Spencer are a beautiful couple and I hope they enjoy this little preview of their wedding photos.

Tamara and Spencer have actually known each other for 8 years through good friends but didn’t actually start dating until the 15th April 2011.  On the 28th of August 2012 Spencer picked Tamara up in a Ferrari and they drove to Mt Tamborine to enjoy the sights and a coffee before heading to the lookout where Spencer proposed.

From that point on the wedding preparations started revolved around this and their story. They choose a country theme to celebrate their day and their love of the country. Tamara has been a resident of the scenic Dayboro area for over 20 years so the choice of Henzell’s Chapel for the ceremony was an easy one. Spencer fell in love with Henzell’s chapel at as soon as he saw it.   The reception at Mt Pleasant Hall was beautifully and elegantly decorated by the family with a focus on hessian trim and natural materials and was the  perfect place to have a gorgeous country reception.

Engaged!

I just realised I hadn’t shared the most lovely engagement party I had the pleasure of photographing a few weeks ago and considering the storms here in beautiful Brisbane have been messing with my outdoor sessions it seemed like the perfect opportunity to share.

When my client gave me the address of this engagement party I was so excited! Dayboro has got to be one of my all time favourite places to photograph.

We took some time before the party started to get some family photos done.

Family Time

As the sun went down behind this gorgeous property I spent some time with this beautiful couple by themselves.

The happy couple

Before kicking up our heals and enjoying the party with a roaring bonfire, twinkling fairy lights and strings of lanterns.

But the best part of the story is that in just a little while I will get to capture this happy couple again as they say “I do”.  Stay tuned!
